October 2025 - Spooky SZN

News from the Town Office

Town office will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Monday, October 13, 2025.

Town Office Hours - We are now open during lunch (12pm - 1pm) on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Feel free to come down then if you are limited for time when we are open.

Transfer Station Hours & Fall Clean-Up - Tuesdays 10am - 5pm and Saturdays 9am - 5pm.

The hours will be returning to winter hours of Tuesday 10-4 and Saturday 10-4 as of November 1st

.

The Fall clean-up day, which means there is NO GATE FEE for ALLAN Residents, is on

October 25, 2025. There will be no charge to anyone bringing in yard waste only. All other rates

will still apply.

Volunteer of the Year — Is there someone from the Community that you wish to recognize?

Applications can be obtained from the Town Office. Applications will be accepted until the day

before the November meeting of Council each year, at which time they will be reviewed by

Council. The form is also available on the website for on-line submission.

Reminder Snow Removal Season is quickly approaching — It’s time to think about

removing campers and RVs from streets to make snow removal effective. Please have these put

away as soon as possible, preferably before the first snow fall.

Sea Can Policy — This policy is new to town as we have been made aware that without a policy,

sea cans were technically not allowed according to our zoning bylaws. Letters and forms went out

in the mail to those who currently have them. Please call or visit the Town Office if you require

the appropriate forms or plan to bring a sea can into town.

Payment options — We do have many different ways to pay your bills here at the office. You

don’t need to come in person! You can e-transfer to Townofallan@sasktel.net or utilize the drop

slot in the West side door for after-hours payments by cash or cheque.

Are your Garbage & Recycle Bins cracked? Missing a wheel? — If they are cracked or have

wheel problems, please let us know at the Town Office and we will get a replacement bin to you.

Dogs & Cats — All dogs and cats are to be leashed and under control when not in your yard.

Clean up after your pet no matter where they do their business. Bylaw enforcement deals with

written complaints on a monthly basis. When you have a concern, contact the office for a form.

We cannot do any enforcement without a written complaint. For Dog Bite, contact the RCMP and

Public Health.
