Our town committees

Our committee is committed to the greenspaces in Allan, especially the Centennial Park. They are committed to making improvements to the space to better in order to best suit all ages within and surrounding Allan. The park contains horse-shoe pits, a gazebo with picnic tables, beach volleyball net and sand pit, playground, 2 adult exercise equipment pieces and plenty of space to enjoy the day. The committee is currently fundraising to fund their new park rejuvenation project which will include a splash pad and multi-use cement pad to name a couple.

The committee is also responsible for creating family-friendly events for the community and surrounding areas including Family Day, Winter Festival and our newest addition, Old Fashioned Christmas. We are always looking for ideas to better our spaces and events.

Our committee is a group of community members who focus on raising money for our town's pool! The money we raise is used to purchase extra items and improvements that aren't covered under regular expenses. 

​

Some events we use to raise funds are glow golf tournaments, BBQ's, sink or swim raffle, and other summer fun basket raffles.

The Communiplex Committee aims to make the most of one of the main pillars of our community.

From ice installation and maintenance, building improvements, facility rentals and much more, this committee is hands-on in making sure Allan has an excellent facility they can be proud of.

From maintaining to improvements, league management to just having fun, our Golf Committee focuses on making the most of the Allan Golf Club.
