News from the Town Office
Town office will be closed for Holiday Hours at Noon on December 24th, 2025.
The office will remain closed for Christmas Day and Boxing Day and will reopen on
December 29th. The Office will also be closed on New Years Day, January 1st, 2026.
Town Office Hours - We are now open during lunch (12pm - 1pm) on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Feel free to come down then if you are limited for time when we are open.
Transfer Station Hours — The hours have now returned to winter hours of Tuesday 11-4 and
Saturday 11-4.
Volunteer of the Year — Thank you to everyone who nominated someone for the Volunteer of
the Year. We had three excellent nominations, all deserving of the award. The Award will be
presented at 8:30 p.m., December 13th, 2025 at the Logan Schatz Memorial Arena at the Allan
Flames Hockey Game.
SNOW Removal — It is now past the time to get the campers and RVs removed from streets to
make snow removal effective. Please have these put away as soon as possible, Council is
considering towing any vehicle left on roadways in excess of 72 hours. We request you move
vehicles and trailers to off street parking, especially after a snowfall. Snow removal policy is
School Area, Fire Hall, Main Street, and Post Office followed by residential streets, and lastly,
back lanes.
Sea Can Policy — This policy is new to town as we have been made aware that without a policy,
sea cans were technically not allowed according to our zoning bylaws. Letters and forms went out
in the mail to those who currently have them. Please call or visit the Town Office if you require
the appropriate forms or plan to bring a sea can into town.
Payment options — We do have many different ways to pay your bills here at the office. You
don’t need to come in person! You can e-transfer to Townofallan@sasktel.net or utilize the drop
slot in the West side door for after-hours payments by cash or cheque.
Business Licenses — Are going to be expiring December 31st, 2025 and due as of January 1st
,2026. Please ensure prompt renewal.
Dogs & Cats — Licenses will be expiring December 31st, 2025 and are due as of January 1st
,2026. Please ensure prompt renewal. Remember to clean up after your pet no matter where they
do their business. Bylaw enforcement deals with written complaints on a monthly basis. When you
have a concern, contact the office for a form. We cannot do any enforcement without a written
complaint.
